The Ugly LegoDuckling #eTwinclusion-new eTwinning project

The project aimed to develop democratic values and fundamental children's rights as social inclusion, non-discrimination, tolerance as well as an active citizenship. At the same time it intended to promote intercultural dialogue through all forms of learning in cooperation with other partners, in order to enhance critical thinking and literacy using storytelling, develop children’s resistance to discrimination, and develop linguistic skills in a foreign language. Pupils involved shared their own experiences and cultures with the other partners and countries.
General objectives were:
· To develop democratic values and fundamental children's rights
· To develop imagination and creativity
· To improve knowledge of the English language
· To offer new ways to involve learners with different learning styles
· To improve social and individual skills
· To improve motivation to learn
· To share different cultures
In December, teachers talked about the project with their children. They sent digital Christmas cards and they presented themselves to other partners.
In January/February , the teachers and pupils dramatized the story  in different versions so the children could talked about what is similar and what is different in the stories.
The children drew pictures of the duckling and build him in Lego (the best will be voted by pupils and it will become the project logo), and teachers uploaded it all on our Twin Space.
In March/April , every class did a “Role play - games” .Teacher will collect the pupils ’ reflections and discuss with each other different emotions.
In May the partner created an online cooperative e-book with the title :” The Ugly LegoDuckling #eTwinclusion”.
In June-a final survey will be created for parents to the success of the project.
